President out of town, vice President will conduct the meeting. Welcoming remarks.
Meeting was called to order at 1901. Francisco volunteered to take notes in the absence of the Secretary.

Ray asked for comments or changes to last month board meeting minutes. No additional changes were suggested. Ray moved to approve the minutes, Larry seconded. The minutes were approved unanimously.

Treasurer's Report

Ray briefly reviewed the summary report. U.S $101.00 dollars were spent in the Tinsley removal, it was proposed to move overflow from Astrofest to Observing account to cover for this expenses. Laurie moved to approve and Tom seconded. Motion was approved unanimously. Tom moved to accept the treasurer’s report, Laurie seconded. The motion passed unanimously.

Agenda Items

Group of officers going down to Kissimmee Preserve to explore the possibilities (Camping, Dark Skies, Astrofest 2007??) Sat 22. Full report upon return.

Astronomy Day: Paul Trembly from Orlando Science Center spoke of the activities at the OSC for that day and requested the help of Cfas. Activities begin at 1000 in the morning. From 1000 to 1700 indoor. Cfas help mostly need it with manning the scopes on the 4th floor terrace. They have enough telescopes available.

Derek needs help for Astronomy Day at SCC.

Memberhip: One new member voted, Linda Wolton. Ray moved to approve and Tom seconded. New member approved unanimously.

Programs: Richard Wright will do a presentation on an astronomy software in June.

The Tinsley will be removed in about 3 weeks. No more visual observing at Robinson.

Board approved to print 200 copies of this quarter's Astrolog.

After every Outreach event the approximate number of attendees should be reported to the board.

Old business

Museum of Art exhibit project has cooled off.

A letter from SCC Foundation was received thanking CFAS for this year's grant.

Club still has old astronomy magazines.

Trailer still available for sale to any member for nominal fee. If no buyer from Cfas, Ray will try Ebay.

Tom Chitty reported that so far usd $124.00 dollars from the sale of tickets for the raffle of the telescope donated by Edmunds Scientific.
